Too Human is an action role-playing game developed by Silicon Knights that puts players in the role of Baldur, a human-champion resurrected by the Norse god Odin to defend humanity from a mechanical apocalypse orchestrated by the Jotun. Set in a world where Norse mythology intertwines with advanced cybernetics and artificial intelligence, the game offers a unique blend of hack-and-slash combat with RPG elements. Players can customize Baldur with a variety of cybernetic enhancements and weapons, and the game features a deep combat system that utilizes a twin-stick control scheme for executing complex combos and special abilities. Despite a troubled development cycle and multiple platform changes, Too Human stands out for its ambitious narrative and distinctive take on mythological themes.
