Description

Resident Evil 5 takes the legendary survival horror franchise into the sun-drenched terror of Africa, delivering a high-octane, cinematic experience built for cooperative play. As series veteran Chris Redfield, you’ll team up with new partner Sheva Alomar to investigate a viral outbreak that has transformed the local populace into aggressive, intelligent threats. The game swaps narrow corridors for massive, open-air set pieces—ranging from marshy oilfields to ancient ruins—all while maintaining the series' signature tension through a real-time inventory system that never lets you pause the chaos. With a deep weapon upgrade path, the return of the fan-favorite "Mercenaries" mode, and a storyline that features the ultimate showdown with iconic villain Albert Wesker, it’s an essential, action-packed thrill ride that remains one of the best-selling and most replayable entries in the entire series.
