Description

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance is the expanded edition of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, released for the original Xbox. The game's story follows a new protagonist, Raiden, who infiltrates an offshore facility called Big Shell to rescue the President and a group of hostages from a terrorist group known as the Sons of Liberty. The plot is a complex, philosophical narrative involving a massive conspiracy by a powerful organization called the Patriots. Substance adds a significant amount of new content, including over 500 VR (Virtual Reality) missions and "Snake Tales," a series of non-canon missions where you play as Solid Snake in the Big Shell environment. The core gameplay is a stealth-action experience, featuring intricate level design, cinematic cutscenes, and a focus on non-lethal takedowns.
