Halo 4

Halo 4 is the seventh installment in the franchise, and the first to be developed by 343 Industries. The story picks up four years after the events of Halo 3, with Master Chief and Cortana adrift in space. They find themselves on the Forerunner world of Requiem, where they encounter a new Covenant splinter group and a new enemy, the Prometheans, led by the ancient Forerunner known as the Didact. A central theme of the game’s plot is Cortana’s descent into “rampancy,” a state of AI deterioration, and Master Chief’s struggle to save her. Gameplay-wise, it introduces new weapons and enemy types, as well as a more emotional, character-driven story.
