Driver: San Francisco is a 2011 action-adventure racing game and the fifth main installment in the Driver series. Developed by Ubisoft Reflections, the game is a significant return to the series’ car-focused roots, largely abandoning the on-foot combat of its predecessors. The plot follows protagonist John Tanner, who falls into a coma and gains the ability to “Shift,” a new mechanic that allows him to instantly possess any car on the road.
