Damnation

Damnation is a unique third-person shooter set in an ambitious, alternate-history steampunk version of the United States, where the Civil War has stretched on for decades and massive, vertical industrial cities dominate the landscape. You play as Hamilton Rourke, the leader of a resistance group fighting against the tyrannical industrialist Prescott, who seeks to establish a global American Empire using advanced steam-powered weaponry and bio-enhanced soldiers. The game’s core hook is its emphasis on verticality, combining frenetic gunplay with intense 3D platforming—allowing Rourke to perform daring acrobatic stunts, wall-runs, and leaps up massive structures.
