Saints Row: The Third (PS3, 2011) is a riotous open-world sandbox that cranks the series’ absurdity to 11, trading gangster grit for over-the-top mayhem. Parachute into Steelport to hijack jets, wield a giant purple dildo bat, and recruit a tiger as your co-pilot—all while customizing your Boss with outlandish outfits and superpowers. Though its mission design is hit-or-miss, the co-op chaos and sheer audacity (hello, Professor Genki) make it a guilty pleasure masterpiece.
