God of War Ascension

God of War: Ascension on the PlayStation 3 is a prequel to the God of War series, chronologically set before the events of the original game. Players once again control Kratos, this time as he seeks to break his blood oath to the God of War, Ares, after being tricked into killing his family. This defiance pits him against the Furies, the guardians of oaths, leading to a brutal and visually stunning action-adventure filled with the series’ signature combo-based combat, mythical creatures, and epic boss battles. Ascension also uniquely features an online multiplayer mode, a first for the series, where players can align with different gods and battle in various competitive and cooperative modes.
