Final Fantasy XIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3, 2011) is a time-hopping sequel that fixes many of its predecessor’s flaws, trading linear corridors for branching timelines, monster recruitment, and puzzle-filled dungeons. Play as Serah and Noel in a quest to rewrite history, with faster combat, a killer soundtrack (Crazy Chocobo!), and multiple endings. Though the story dives deep into time paradox mumbo-jumbo, its charms and improvements make it the XIII trilogy’s highlight.
