Devil May Cry

Devil May Cry (PS3, 2012) is the polarizing reboot of the iconic series, introducing a younger, edgier Dante in a stylized action-fest. The combat shines with its revamped Angel/Demon weapon-switching and slick combos, while the art direction oozes neon-noir flair. Though its story and tone divided fans, the gameplay’s depth (especially in Vergil’s Downfall DLC) makes it a standout character-action title—just don’t call it DmC: Devil May Cry around purists.
