Dead Space 3

Dead Space 3 (PS3, 2013) is a divisive but ambitious sequel that trades pure horror for action-packed co-op survival, set on the frozen planet Tau Volantis. Team up (or go solo) as Isaac Clarke, crafting custom weapons (flamethrower sniper? Why not!) and battling both Necromorphs and human cultists. While the scares take a backseat, the cinematic set-pieces, zero-G exploration, and John Carver’s co-op story (exclusive to multiplayer) add fresh twists. A flawed but fun finale to Isaac’s trilogy—best enjoyed with a buddy.
