Description

Batman: Arkham Origins (2013) is a prequel to Rocksteady’s Arkham series, set on Christmas Eve as a young, unrefined Batman faces eight elite assassins (including Deathstroke and Bane) hired by Black Mask to kill him. Developed by WB Games Montréal, it retains the franchise’s freeflow combat and predator stealth, while introducing crime scene investigations, multiplayer (since shut down), and a winter-gotham open world. Though praised for its story, boss fights, and Holiday atmosphere, it was criticized for glitches and lack of innovation.
