Without Warning

Without Warning (PS2, 2005) is a squad-based survival shooter with a B-movie vibe, pitting a ragtag team (SWAT, firefighter, reporter) against alien invaders in a derelict facility. Its real-time clock mechanic amps tension—missions change if you take too long—and the persistent wounds system (limping on broken legs, bleeding out) adds grit. But janky controls, repetitive level design, and stiff voice acting sink its potential. A cult oddity for fans of Cold Fear or Obscure, but hardly essential.
