Urban Chaos

Urban Chaos (PS2/PC, 2000) is a gritty, ahead-of-its-time FPS where you play as either a trigger-happy cop or a martial arts-trained firefighter battling urban decay in a crime-ridden metropolis. With open-ended missions (arrest gang leaders, rescue hostages, or go in guns blazing), destructible environments, and a shocking realistic tone for 2000, it feels like a proto-Battlefield: Hardline. Janky controls and dated AI hold it back, but its ambition—and the ability to dropkick criminals off rooftops—earns cult status.
