Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven (PS2, 2003) is a stealth-action classic that lets you become the ultimate ninja, stalking shadows and executing silent kills as Rikimaru, Ayame, or Tatsumaru. Its tense, methodical gameplay rewards patience with brutal assassinations (grappling hooks, poison rice, and oh-so-satisfying neck snaps), while the mission editor adds replay value. Though the camera and AI show their age, the atmospheric feudal Japan setting and pure ninja fantasy make it a cult must-play.
