Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 (PS2, 2004) is a high-flying fighting gem that perfected the Budokai formula with teleport counters, cinematic Dragon Rush clashes, and a massive roster of Saiyans, villains, and even Kid Goku. Its “Dragon Universe” story mode lets you relive Z’s greatest battles with RPG-lite upgrades, while the fast-paced combat (now with beam struggles!) captures the anime’s energy. Though later Tenkaichi games expanded the scope, Budokai 3 remains the purest DBZ fighter.
