Chaos Legion

Chaos Legion is an action-adventure hack-and-slash game for the PlayStation 2, developed and published by Capcom. Set in a gothic fantasy world, you play as Sieg Wahrheit, a Knight of the Dark Glyphs, who can summon and command various “Chaos Legions”—supernatural creatures with unique abilities—to aid him in battle against hordes of enemies. The game’s core mechanic revolves around managing your summoned legions, switching between them to adapt to different combat situations, as you pursue your former friend Victor Delacroix, who has stolen a forbidden book and seeks to unleash a destructive evil.
