The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II

In The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II, the story returns to the Republic of Calvard shortly after the events of the first game. You once again step into the shoes of Van Arkride, the “Spriggan” who handles the messy jobs the police and guilds won’t touch. The peace is shattered when a series of gruesome murders committed by a mysterious crimson beast brings the CID and underground factions back into conflict. This sequel introduces the Dual-Phase Combo system, which allows for even more seamless transitions between real-time “Field Battle” and tactical “Command Battle,” while adding new “EX Chains” to punish stunned enemies with overwhelming force. With a darker, more personal mystery at its core and the return of a massive cast of allies and rivals, it’s a high-stakes evolution of the Calvard arc.
