Pokemon Black

“Pokémon Black,” released on March 6, 2011, in North America for the Nintendo DS, takes place in the Unova region, a land separate from previous Pokémon settings, and introduces 156 entirely new Pokémon. Players embark on the traditional journey to become the Pokémon League Champion, collecting eight Gym Badges and challenging the Elite Four, while also encountering Team Plasma, a group with the seemingly noble goal of Pokémon liberation but with a more sinister agenda. Key gameplay innovations included fully animated Pokémon sprites in battle, a dynamic camera, Triple and Rotation Battles for more strategic combat, and the introduction of Seasons that affect the environment and available Pokémon. The game’s legendary Pokémon include Reshiram (version exclusive), Zekrom (version exclusive in White), and the third member of the Tao trio, Kyurem, along with other legendaries like Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus (Black exclusive), Thundurus (White exclusive), Landorus, and the mythical Pokémon Victini, Meloetta, Keldeo, and Genesect (obtained through events).
