The Conduit (Wii, 2009) is a rare hardcore FPS for the Wii, built to showcase the precision of the Wii Remote for aiming. Set in a D.C. under alien siege, it mixes Half-Life-style storytelling with fully customizable controls (tweak sensitivity, HUD, and even pointer dead zones). While the textures are muddy and the story forgettable, the online multiplayer (RIP servers) and local split-screen made it a cult hit for Wii owners craving Halo-like action.
