Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PS3, 2010) is a back-to-basics adventure that returns to the series’ Sands of Time roots, mixing fluid platforming with time-bending combat. The Prince gains elemental powers (freezing water, summoning storms) to solve puzzles and slash through armies, while the stunning Persian-inspired visuals hold up well. Though its story feels tacked-on (tying loosely to the 2008 reboot), the tight level design and classic Prince charm make it a worthy, if overlooked, entry.
