Final Fantasy Chronicles (PS1, 2001) is a nostalgic bundle pairing Final Fantasy IV (as FFII in the West) and Chrono Trigger—two 16-bit RPG legends—with added anime cutscenes. While FFIV’s tale of redemption and CT’s time-hopping brilliance shine, the PS1 ports suffer from infamous load times (even opening menus lags) and no true fixes from their SNES flaws. A must-play duo, but best experienced on DS (FFIV) or Steam (CT).
