Final Fantasy Anthology is a compilation released by Square (now Square Enix) in 1999 for the PlayStation, bundling two classic JRPGs: Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI (originally released as Final Fantasy III in North America on the SNES). The collection features enhanced graphics, full-motion video (FMV) cutscenes, and a rearranged soundtrack, though it also suffers from slower loading times compared to the original versions. Final Fantasy V is known for its deep job system, while Final Fantasy VI is celebrated for its ensemble cast, emotional storytelling, and iconic villain, Kefka.
