Shadows of the Damned

Shadows of the Damned is a wild, stylish, and deeply twisted action-horror game born from the collaboration of two Japanese gaming legends: Shinji Mikami (creator of Resident Evil) and Suda51 (creator of No More Heroes). You play as Garcia Hotspur, a professional demon hunter who journeys to the City of the Damned—a surreal, personalized version of Hell—to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend, Paula. The core mechanic revolves around the interplay of Light and Darkness; you must use light sources to defeat enemies that are protected by the pervasive darkness.
