Far Cry Primal

Far Cry Primal radically shakes up the open-world shooter formula by transporting the player thousands of years into the past, into the savage and dangerous Stone Age. Set in the wild land of Oros, you play as Takkar, a seasoned hunter and the last surviving member of his hunting group, whose goal is to rise up and lead his people to dominate this hostile landscape. The traditional guns and vehicles of the series are replaced by spears, bows, and clubs, with the core gameplay focusing on mastery of fire, crafting, and, most uniquely, Beast Mastery. This feature allows you to tame, train, and command powerful animals like saber-toothed tigers, bears, and owls to act as your loyal companions, making strategic use of fauna key to survival, combat, and exploration in this brutal, stunningly realized prehistoric world.
