Often considered one of the greatest video game remakes of all time, Resident Evil for the GameCube is a masterful reimagining of the 1996 survival horror classic. As S.T.A.R.S. members Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine, you explore a terrifying mansion and its grounds, solving puzzles and fending off grotesque bioweapons. The game retains the signature fixed camera angles and tank controls, but features a complete graphical overhaul, new areas, and new gameplay mechanics—like the introduction of the powerful “Crimson Head” zombies—that make it a fresh and even more frightening experience.
