Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a 2018 first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It’s a significant departure for the series as it was the first mainline Call of Duty game to launch without a traditional single-player campaign. Instead, the game focused entirely on its multiplayer components. This included a revamped multiplayer mode with a focus on tactical gameplay and a new “Blackout” battle royale mode, which was a first for the franchise. It also featured the largest Zombies offering at launch, with three distinct experiences. The game was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was not released on the PlayStation 3.
